A Day Ward provides diabetes education, including use of insulin infusion pumps, evaluation of individuals and families at risk for type 1 diabetes, endocrine function testing, and day treatments (eg gammaglobulin or cyclophosphamide infusions, allergen desensitisation).

There is a combined Clinical Immunology and Allergy Clinic (including allergen testing).

Diagnostic services include:

• Immunology Laboratory assays for autoantibodies in systemic and organ-specific autoimmune diseases, T-cell function and immune cell surface markers (flow cytometry)
• Allergen testing and desensitisation
• Endocrine function testing
