Nursing Opportunities @ The Royal Melbourne Hospital

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) offers career opportunities across a vast range of nursing specialties and levels of experience.   We currently employ more than 1300 nurses across our acute and subacute campuses. Specialty areas of nursing within the RMH include: Ambulatory and Continuing Care Cardiac Services Emergency Services Intensive Care Medicine Neurosciences   Surgery and Perioperative Services

Many nurses join the RMH team via the Graduate Nursing Program. The aim of the program is to support graduate nurses in making the transition from student to registered nurse in a friendly and stimulating working environment.

Following their graduate year, most of our nurses will consolidate their skills in a specialist area or enter our Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pratice. This program is also open to external applicants.
