  About Us

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is a leading metropolitan health provider, which includes the RMH city and Royal Park campuses, North Western Mental Health, North West Dialysis and Victorian Infectious Diseases Research Laboratory (VIDRL).

The RMH City Campus is a tertiary referral hospital, providing acute care, specialist medical and surgical services and a state-wide trauma service to the communities of Melbourne and greater Victoria, while the RMH Royal Park Campus is the centre of expertise in sub acute care, community and rehabilitation services.

RMH City Campus is uniquely located in Melbourne’s prestigious Parkville Precinct and enjoys a close proximity to cutting edge medical research and consequently has a pervading culture of integrating evidence into practice.  It is exposure to this experience that has resulted in graduates from RMH being keenly sought within the health care industry.

Graduate nurses are an integral part of the RMH commitment to taking the nursing profession into the future. This includes ensuring that graduate nurses are well supported by senior nursing leaders and that they have the opportunity to experience a range of nursing specialities.

Graduates are recognised as a major source of new staff recruitment to RMH each year and as such it is in our interests to welcome graduates into our team and assist graduates to become confident and skilled nurses who are truly part of our 'passion for caring and achieving the extraordinary'.
